I think you can agree. So from every cold person in Washington... summer please show us! Pretty pretty please :]<br />

By themselves they are <span style="font-size: large;"><strong>AMAZING</strong></span> but I like to make them even better than amazing... what would that be?!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Usually I do all of this minus the shake with my <a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/Store/ItemDetail.aspx?itemCode=P4602&id=B&flavor=B&size=P">muscle gain</a> every morning, but for the cleanse I use only 1 scoop of muscle gain for some extra protein since I don't eat meat.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So ladies and gentles meet my favorite breakfast shake cast....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A berry or vanilla meal replacement shake</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
spinach (<span style="font-size: large;"><strong>LOTS</strong></span><span style="font-size: small;">)</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
frozen bananas chopped up</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
frozen mixed fruit</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
muscle gain (vanilla is best)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
fresh fruit if you have any (we have some blueberries that needed to be used)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Hu9gMh7hwpI/Th9I_IZbeVI/AAAAAAAABTg/znVGgn31emA/s1600/021.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="532" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Hu9gMh7hwpI/Th9I_IZbeVI/AAAAAAAABTg/znVGgn31emA/s640/021.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
Start with 8oz of water, your shake mix and one scoop of vanilla muscle gain.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iDFeig8DUYo/Th9JZ2dfWhI/AAAAAAAABTk/PRV7iC4qOLg/s1600/022.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iDFeig8DUYo/Th9JZ2dfWhI/AAAAAAAABTk/PRV7iC4qOLg/s640/022.JPG" width="382" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Add in as much spinach as you would like. As you can see I like a lot of it!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tNwzSo6ujkM/Th9Ja-wjyxI/AAAAAAAABTo/XTM-XNYfQb0/s1600/023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tNwzSo6ujkM/Th9Ja-wjyxI/AAAAAAAABTo/XTM-XNYfQb0/s640/023.JPG" width="430" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
Mix away...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3FfPKGZfLg0/Th9Jcu2wDXI/AAAAAAAABTs/4wIS0Y8mUDA/s1600/024.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3FfPKGZfLg0/Th9Jcu2wDXI/AAAAAAAABTs/4wIS0Y8mUDA/s640/024.JPG" width="418" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now you have yourself a nice green smoothie :]</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-l9edfde5GI8/Th9Jc_UfpuI/AAAAAAAABTw/pl5lqnrRCsI/s1600/025.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-l9edfde5GI8/Th9Jc_UfpuI/AAAAAAAABTw/pl5lqnrRCsI/s640/025.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
Add in a handful of frozen fruit and a few slices of banana (make sure not to put in too much frozen fruit or you will end up with a <span style="font-size: large;"><strong>VERY </strong></span>thick smoothie that you have to eat with a spoon!), throw in some fresh fruit if you have some... and mix that bad boy up.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0riuVwXdqpI/Th9Jd8DPe-I/AAAAAAAABT0/1kKWcF5kyh8/s1600/026.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="574" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0riuVwXdqpI/Th9Jd8DPe-I/AAAAAAAABT0/1kKWcF5kyh8/s640/026.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
All done! </div>

I personally can't wait for it to be over! Days and days and days of listening to fireworks is no fun for me. Especially when they light them off till 4:30 in the morning! I don't even want to imagine what it must be like for someone with PTSD.. and when I say fireworks I mean the ones that sound like bombs going off. I do like the pretty ones though :]<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Anyways, while I was searching for "God bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood (perfect song for today of course) I came across this little ditty! This was back whem American Idol was good to me, everyone looked normal still.. not like they were rock stars in waiting ha. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

We'll see how that goes...<br />
A few weeks ago my mother in law, sister in law, two of the nephews, the sil's roomie, her friend and myself headed out for the strawberry festival parade. I haven't been in YEARS so I was pretty excited for this. <br />

I'm on the slow side. Today I was enjoying the first day of summer (YAY) at the park with the girls and as soon as I got there I wished I would have remembered my camera. It was beautiful out. Hopefully the weather will be nice to us in Washington this summer so I can get lots of pictures to share :]<br />

I want to do a post just on Molly at that park. She is my favorite.. subject ha. Ellie doesn't like getting her picture taken so whenever the camera comes out she stops what she is doing, or she turns her head. Little stinker!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-8734505006480751369?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-46594718989371522622011-06-16T11:32:00.000-07:002011-06-16T11:32:26.562-07:002011-06-16T11:32:26.562-07:00Hey hey hey...... GOODBYE! To credit card debt that is!! We are officially free of credit cards and that pesky debt that goes with it. Man does it feel amazing. We still have two car loans left that have a hefty total together, but it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders now that the credit cards are all paid off and closed out. I've been telling anyone who will listen that we our credit card free ha. I'm sure it's getting annoying by now.<br />
I'm hoping to have the Explorer paid off by November, December at the latest. With Frank coming home for leave in August that puts a little detour in our journey to total debt freedom. It's a pretty good detour so I don't mind :] I did tell him though that we won't be spending much money if we can help it since our debt still is important while he's home. And to make things even better we have to pay for 3 plane tickets for him. His flight out of GTMO is free, however, he has to pay to get home from Jacksonville. I had him book his tickets since he knew the times he had to work with. Well he made a little snafu and had his returning flight get back to JAX an hour AFTER his flight back to GTMO. They only have one or two flights a week in/out of there so he CAN NOT miss it!<br />
<br />
I tried calling the company he bought them through but it seems shady because I can never get through and my calls end out of nowhere. So now we will have to purchase a one way returning flight to JAX so he is able to catch his flight back to base and not get into trouble. Needless to say I will be taking care of all flight travels from here on out ha. <br />
<br />
So that's our excitement right now!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-4659471898937152262?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-77490768955720316022011-06-09T21:44:00.000-07:002011-06-09T21:44:42.967-07:002011-06-09T21:44:42.967-07:00Fun in the sun<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LVv1-A81h6A/TfGWjdXZObI/AAAAAAAABOI/tbeO-f0wvK4/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LVv1-A81h6A/TfGWjdXZObI/AAAAAAAABOI/tbeO-f0wvK4/s640/002.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />

I have done pretty much nothing since I've been home. I love being busy.. exploring.. anything! I don't like the base gym at Everett, so trying to make myself go is a little challenging. I don't have warm work out clothes so I can't do outdoor work outs which are my favorite of course. I have been seeing family lots and it has been going great. Praise Jesus!! <br />
Lets see... Frank put his leave in for August, YAY! We are one pay check away from having our last credit card paid off. So close to being DONE with credit cards :] I found a church I like and I have family that goes there as well, I didn't know it at the time when I decided to check it out.... I am back volunteering at <a href="http://www.thenoahcenter.org/">N.O.A.H</a> and loving every minute of it.<br />
<br />
Life is still very much up in the air for us over the next year year in a half and it continues to scare the crap out of me :[ I know that everything will be okay... He doesn't put things in our life that we can't handle! But for someone (me) who has control issues it's not so easy. We'll gladly take prayers!<br />
<br />
Here are a few pictures from when I first got home, I was meeting our newest nephew Zaedan for the first time. <br />

My parents came down to San Diego for a week over my birthday and I kept them busy sight seeing the whole time. Then my dad drove up to Washington with me which is where I'll be for a few months. I have no idea how long I'll be here for, but my goal is to stay till we get our debt paid off. If we're strict with our budget we can make it happen. So that is the driving force. <br />
I miss San Diego but feel okay with being home. It made me realize that San Diego is our "home" now, no matter where else the Navy sends us San Diego is where we want to plant roots. For now it's the land of coffee stands, trucks, tanning and people wearing shorts the second the sun comes out. Oh and how can I forget, RAIN! I plan to get back into a routine with the gym on Monday. I was going to try for this week but I had far too much going on and didn't feel like stressing myself out. <br />
<br />
The dogs are loving having my parents yard and Frank's parents yard to run in! I'm loving the cheaper gas prices ha.<br />
<br />
Here are a few pictures from the last month.. I need to get better with posting them!<br />

Attend the weekend marriage retreat and take the <a href="http://www.rockpilebookstore.com/christian-videos-dvds/5112-rock-financial-life-dvd-set.html">Rock Financial Life</a> (RFL) class. Well we we weren't able to do either. Poo! So last month when I saw that they would be offering the RFL class again for the last time this year I of course jumped on that and signed up.<br />
<br />
It's a 6 week course that they only do a few times a year. And about two nights before the first class I decided to move. I have great timing! ha. I was able to attend the first two classes and man am I glad I made it to them at least. This is a class for EVERYONE! If you have money, or don't have it. Know how to budget it, or don't know how.. it's amazing and every person should take it. This is my new favorite saying "Live Today For THAT Day" yes this is nothing new, it's just not one I had heard before. I was sad that I wouldn't be able to finish the class out, but this is why I love our church. They have the whole class on DVD :] YAY. <br />
<br />
At some point I'll buy it and share it with others, pair it with Dave Ramsey (who they actually quote in the work book!) and talk about being financially set and smart. I can't wait till next year when Frank is back and we can take the class together! Hey maybe we'll even make it to the marriage retreat next year!? ha.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-4709896800331195192?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-67707369165384173252011-04-22T13:56:00.000-07:002011-04-22T13:56:55.047-07:002011-04-22T13:56:55.047-07:00The rundownSorry for randomly going MIA. Lots have been going on. My parents come down next week for my birthday, then once they leave I will be following. Yup I'll be making a big move up to Washington. This all came about less than a week ago, and I will be kicking and screaming the whole way. I'll be moving home so we can get our debt paid off once and for all! Now a little explaining...<br />
<br />
So for a long time Frank had been talking about going IA for the money, so once GTMO came up he was all over it. It was also one that I agreed to. Frank volunteered and pushed this through because he was willing to sacrifice more than a year away to help us out financially. <br />
<br />
Almost a year ago is when we started following Dave Ramsey and decided that we would give up a few years of "fun" so that we can enjoy the rest of our lives with no worries over money. So making sacrifices is something we're okay with. Frank made his, so what was mine? Well I didn't do much, but I don't anyways so it wasn't much of a sacrifice. The other day it just hit me that I needed to go home. It was like I had finally put my stubbornness aside and listened to what God wanted me to do. This is a HUGE test for me! I don't do well at home for long periods of time. 3 weeks was too much back in November. So 9 months is.. well it's going to be interesting. <br />
<br />
I had spent almost an entire day praying about this and asking God for any big clear signs since it felt like I was subconsciously ignoring Him. And of course they were all over the place. So with my parents coming down it made for perfect timing, we'll drop my mom off at the airport then pack up the explorer and head north. Thankfully our apartment is month to month so I didn't have to worry about paying to get out of a lease, I will have to pay for all of May though since I wasn't able to give a 30 days notice. Everything has already been canceled and I have a storage unit up at Miramar that is half packed already. The only thing left is to switch over my insurance and have all my mail forwarded. This is the easiest move I've ever done!! I want everything done before my parents get here so that we can enjoy San Diego on there vacation. <br />
<br />
So that's the low down on everything going on in my life right now. It's going to be hard still even with all the money we're saving, but we can and WILL do it. When Frank gets back we WILL be debt free :]<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-6770736916538417325?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-58073051327569322672011-04-10T16:17:00.000-07:002011-04-10T16:17:41.421-07:002011-04-10T16:17:41.421-07:00Getting to know ME<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UuRnduZf1XQ/TaI6UF_KI5I/AAAAAAAABK8/e2LAqbeScik/s1600/GettingtoknowYOU.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UuRnduZf1XQ/TaI6UF_KI5I/AAAAAAAABK8/e2LAqbeScik/s320/GettingtoknowYOU.jpg" width="270" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #134f5c;"></span></span></strong> </div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #134f5c;">1. do you watch/read the news?</span></span></strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I read my news apps every day first thing in the morning then randomly through out the day. I won't be trying everything but over time I'd like to sample just everything they have to offer. That will take some time though.<br />
<br />
<strong><span style="font-size: large;">Leptilean: </span></strong><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-b3aTHj_ovrU/TZFYNi2tZmI/AAAAAAAABKA/VH70nWIFibY/s1600/leptilean.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" r6="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-b3aTHj_ovrU/TZFYNi2tZmI/AAAAAAAABKA/VH70nWIFibY/s1600/leptilean.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/Store/ItemDetail.aspx?itemCode=T5000&id=A">Leptilean</a> is perfect for those times when you feel like you could eat an entire table serving of food. It helps with suppressing your appetite and making you feel full so you only eat what your body really needs. Rather than what you think you need. I'm LOVING this one since I have a hard time with portion control.<br />
<br />
<strong><span style="font-size: large;">Catalyst: </span></strong><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YZih5wsAfW4/TZFZL8L6wPI/AAAAAAAABKE/TcZS5SpXOtY/s1600/catalyst.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" r6="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YZih5wsAfW4/TZFZL8L6wPI/AAAAAAAABKE/TcZS5SpXOtY/s1600/catalyst.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/Store/ItemDetail.aspx?itemCode=T2010&id=A">Catalyst</a> is just simply amazing! What I love about this is that anyone can take it. It's works great at different times of the day, before or after a work out.. in the morning at night.. between meals. It helps with repairing tissue and maintaining muscle mass all while targeting the body fat to get rid of. It also helps give you more energy and appetite control, which I know everyone can use at some point or another.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;">MNS Max 3: </span></strong></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Zwl7NEImEFk/TZFajbX2wBI/AAAAAAAABKI/swYp-E6Ig5o/s1600/max+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" r6="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Zwl7NEImEFk/TZFajbX2wBI/AAAAAAAABKI/swYp-E6Ig5o/s1600/max+3.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"></div><div style="text-align: left;">I love the MNS (metabolic nutrition system) packets because it's like your daily vitamins all in one strip! So far I've only taken <a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/Store/ItemDetail.aspx?itemCode=T1131&id=A">Max 3</a> since it covers more of what I need within vitamins. But I plan to try <a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/Store/ItemDetail.aspx?itemCode=T1141&id=A">Max E</a> and <a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/Store/ItemDetail.aspx?itemCode=T1172&id=A">Max C</a> soon. Max 3 is good because it's a nice mix of both E and C. I've noticed since starting with MNS that my skin has been looking healthier since I am getting all the right amounts of oils. Love that!</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;">Meal Replacement Shake: </span></strong></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yLkzmmx92xc/TZFb7kvguBI/AAAAAAAABKM/iNGbOIiR5f4/s1600/shake.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" r6="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yLkzmmx92xc/TZFb7kvguBI/AAAAAAAABKM/iNGbOIiR5f4/s1600/shake.jpg" /></a></div>The <a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/Store/ItemDetail.aspx?itemCode=T1251&id=A&flavor=B">meal replacement shakes</a> are simply amazingly delicious! Yes I just said that ha. I've had other brands that were <em>okay </em>but they are NOTHING compared to these. The vanilla tastes like cupcakes (who wouldn't love that!?) and the berry tastes like.. well yummy berries ha. I love mixing these with frozen fruit to make a nice thick tasty shake :] YUM!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-8839189418410253472?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-17299476371307760072011-03-27T12:06:00.000-07:002011-03-27T12:08:20.397-07:002011-03-27T12:08:20.397-07:00Getting to know ME<div style="text-align: center;">It's back! And apparently I missed last weeks and didn't even realize it. Bummer. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: purple;">This is sad.. I don't remember :( Does Advocare products count?</span></div><span style="color: purple;"></span><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: purple;">mmmm tough one, I like both. I love actually going to the theater and watching a movie on a larger than life screen. But I also love being able to pause and go to the bathroom or get something to eat from my couch. Guess it just depends on how I'm feeling.</span></div><span style="color: purple;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong>4. household chore you don't mind doing?</strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: purple;">haha I love to clean. But I guess vacuuming is the one I don't mind at all.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Since almost all of my posts are with pictures I obviously wasn't blogging. If you hadn't figured out!? ha. Any-who.. Here are a few for now. I started making my own peanut butter. NEVER AGAIN will I buy peanut butter from the store! This was far to simple and quick and the BEST peanut butter I've ever had! I found the recipe <a href="http://www.joythebaker.com/blog/2009/02/how-to-make-homemade-peanut-butter/">HERE</a>. I'm not sure you can even call it a recipe when it only consists of two ingredients. I want some now... If only I had some honey roasted peanuts.. Oh wait I ate them all : /</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This post was suppose to have more food updates, but since I've hit my quote (BOO!) I'm apparently going to have to purchase more space. I've heard it's only $5 a year so not bad, but super annoying. Anyways, I don't feel like doing it right now so I guess I'll just give the links to the other recipes.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

I've been busier than ever. <br />
I added some new stuff to my IA Challenge. Keri over at <a href="http://keriandbrian.blogspot.com/">[The Ronk's]</a> is doing a sugar free month for the second time. It was too late to join in so I decided that April I will go sugar free.. for the most part. There is some sugar in my Advocare products, and since I'm not going to stop those I will be going sugar free minus Advocare ha. So if there is anyone out there who wants to join me, let me know! It will be fun. I'm also doing the 21 day vegan kick start in April.. but again it won't be 100%. There is <em>some </em>milk based products in the protein shakes and bars. So if you want to join me for either.. or both it will be fun :]<br />
<br />
<span style="color: red; font-size: large;">I wrote this post yesterday but as I was going to post it my Internet decided to stop working. And it only saved the first paragraph of the whole thing... it of course was a long post! My brain has pretty much already gone to bed so we'll see what I can manage...</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: black;">I have had 30 Day Shred for a while now, Frank and I love working out to it every once in a while. We just have never done the whole thing straight through. I decided that was something I wanted to throw into the IA Challenge. I started yesterday with level 1 (I'm going to do 10 days each level possibly) and flew through it like it was my pre-work out. I have to thank Advocare for that! My energy, strength and total physical abilities have improved so much in the last (almost) two months I've been on products. So for those who think they won't work, I'm proof that it does :] However, today my lower back feels like it's going to snap in half if I move wrong... so no Jillian today. Boo I will do the whole DVD straight through at some point.</span><br />
<br />
I finally got around to organizing the closest in the spare room the way I wanted too. I am very happy with how much better it looks. I also got a bookcase for our DVDs and Advocare products that are up for sale. I'm very very happy tonight because of those two things. I didn't stop there of course, I went through every square inch of this place re-organizing and getting rid of stuff. I love organizing far too much.<br />
<br />
I think I'm going to end it there tonight. I have a lot of blogs I want to get up... and the bath is calling my name... : ]<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-3392070428545350268?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-30264788316530344422011-03-03T22:19:00.000-08:002011-03-03T22:19:20.149-08:002011-03-03T22:19:20.149-08:00Excuses<div style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: red; font-size: large;">Excuses are nails used to build a house of failure</span></strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">This has become one of my new favorite quotes. I just wish I could say I wrote it. A fellow <a href="http://www.advocare-longleys.com/">Advocare</a> advisor (I'm so close!) shared this on facebook. This was me growing up, I had an excuse for everything. And I mean EVERYTHING! It wasn't till a few years ago that I realized that I was the only one stopping me from succeeding in life. I was far to afraid of failure, rejection, disappointment and way to stubborn and always wanting to do things my way. <br />
<br />
Guess what? I was wrong! <br />
<br />
Frank helped me see that I could do far more than I ever thought possible. He kept pushing me when I wanted to give up, it was a real break through. I still battle with my fear of failure, but I have learned that I don't need to hold all those emotions in and try to work on them myself. As soon as I asked God for help and put all trust in Him, this weight began to lift off my shoulders. Now it still is a daily struggle for me but right now all I can do is be obedient. It's some great advice that I should never forget. <br />
<br />
I wonder why Advocare never came into my life sooner. With as much emotion and energy I put into helping others just because, I could have made such an impact on peoples lives by now. Who knows, maybe I have and I just don't see it yet...</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-3026478831653034442?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-32923273897616052672011-02-28T20:28:00.000-08:002011-02-28T20:28:45.883-08:002011-02-28T20:28:45.883-08:00Exciting news<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Some awesome news to share... George has been adopted! I was almost emotional over it, for good reasons, but then the excitement took over in me. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-1dDa7kBnygA/TWxx2srdW9I/AAAAAAAABI4/PBfv6Lm79ng/s1600/068.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" l6="true" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-1dDa7kBnygA/TWxx2srdW9I/AAAAAAAABI4/PBfv6Lm79ng/s640/068.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;">Two weeks ago he went with an older couple who were more than excited to bring him into there family. I took him out there for a meet and greet and knew immediately that he was in the right place. They love big dogs, I believe George is the smallest they've had. And best of all they knew he was going to require lots of work to help him heal from him past. The day before there one week trial was suppose to end Debbie (George's new mom) called and asked for an additional week. They had had a major set back the day before. One of George's problem is being afraid of being left outside since he was left for dead in a park. They live on 4 acres that are fenced so they wanted him to explore on his own and get a feel for it all. Apparently George went crazy and ran off and hid for a while. After he came back he had shut down from everything. They didn't want to give up on him though which is why I still felt like he was meant to be with them. </div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;">They called in a trainer to work with him and after just a couple sessions George had made huge improvements. The trainer was certain he would pass with flying colors. So less than a week after asking for the extension Debbie emailed me telling they wanted to finalize everything :] What an amazing couple they are. I couldn't have been more happy for them to find George, they cared and loved him and wanted to help him as much as we did. I continue to pray for them and George, I only want them best for them all.</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;">In other good news my BECU credit card is officially paid off and CANCELED! It feels great. Now we only have our Navy Fed card and two car loans left. Once we start making money from Advocare it will be going straight to the card and getting that thing knocked out. </div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;">By the by.. I got a birthday coming up in a few months. If you want to get me anything (and no I'm not asking but there are a few people who will want to do something) just give me cash to put towards our debt. I really don't want anything, I always feel weird getting gifts.</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;">More random posts to come soon. I have some dishes to get done tonight and don't feel like staying up late just to do that, not want I call a fun reason to stay up late.</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-3292327389761605267?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-53417851236800695252011-02-26T11:29:00.000-08:002011-02-26T11:29:08.531-08:002011-02-26T11:29:08.531-08:00The happeningsPeople keep asking how I'm doing with Frank gone (it comes with the territory but I figured I'd just put it out there for everyone). Sorry to disappoint anyone who was hoping for some juicy depression or what not, but it's been pretty much the same. The only difference is that I'm really busy with trying to start up our <a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/">Advocare</a> business. Since we are able to text each other multiple times a day and talk quite often, it's been rather easy. Once he gets to GTMO our communication will drop significantly because he doesn't have a laptop yet and I don't want to pay for phone cards since that will just take away from the money we're saving for the laptop. So we'll just have to rely on good old fashion email ;] ha. I laughed a little calling it old fashioned.. it's getting there these days!<br />
<br />
There we're no tears when he left, no staying in bed for hours or days on end. I love to cook and clean (and actually love it more when I'm only doing it for myself!!) so nothing has changed there. I did have my first breakdown yesterday, but honestly that could have happened with him here or not. In the last 4 days the dogs have chewed up 3 different cords. The last one they did was the power cord for the Internet. I was angry with them. VERY ANGRY! I started hyperventilating because I didn't really know what to do with it all, a few tears were shed, but I mostly wanted to hit something. I laid down for about 30 minutes to calm myself down and then picked up the mess and headed to AT&T to get a new cord. Exciting story I know ;]<br />
<br />
For some odd reason if you don't cry over your significant other leaving, or if you have no problem being going on about your days without him actually there there is something wrong with you. People can be weird sometimes! I would like to put it out there that YES I do miss Frank a lot, hello why wouldn't I miss him!? One of the reason's I don't mind being apart is that we are able to not take the time we have together for granted. And I love that.<br />
<br />
We always look at him leaving as a reason (other than he has to) behind it. With this one we were at the point where we needed to focus on ourselves for a little while. Work on strengthening our relationship with God and ourselves. There is so much to learn and grow from, and then being able to bring that back into our relationship when we are together again. It's exciting to us.<br />
<br />
SIDE NOTE: My fingers are freezing and making it hard to type, I am going to try to catch all the typo's but I have a feeling I won't get them all. This cold weather is NOT making me happy! It needs to warm up. AND FAST!<br />
<br />
LOVE <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJqgxynZyH0">THIS</a> song by Rascal Flatts! I'm not a fan of PDA but this couple is too cute :]<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-5341785123680069525?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-51235069963193864302011-02-21T17:12:00.000-08:002011-02-21T17:12:27.260-08:002011-02-21T17:12:27.260-08:00LifeRight now my life has been consumed with <a href="https://www.advocare.com/11019117/">Advocare</a>, do I mind? Not at all! In fact I love it. I am part of an amazing team, who love God and only want the best for me. How could I not be happy? I am still in that new/weird area where I am learning everything and not sure what to do at times. It can be frustrating, but I'm not letting it get me down.. much ; ]. I'm also learning to be more out there with people I don't know (NOT something I've ever been good at!) and get the word out about the products and company. <br />
<br />
I currently have a long list of things I still want to get, maybe then it will feel real... humm. It's amazing to be able to have this vision, AND be able to be in control of that. Nothing is stopping me except me and I have to keep reminding myself that. <br />
<br />
Something else that is quite amazing is seeing the things God has done in my life. It almost makes me stop in my tracks because it always seems to catch me off guard. Oy I'm having a hard time coming up with my words now : / It doesn't help that the dogs have been driving me crazy half the night by sitting at my feet being drama queens. That's pretty much how I feel right now though. Last night I registered for success school, it's a weekend of Advocare! They hold it twice a year, this last weekend was the winter school but since Frank was leaving we didn't go.. obviously. I heard the summer one was going to be in August... I was getting nervous! My friends wedding is in August, and I wasn't missing that. Needless to say I was jumping up and down excited (it was really weird because I was by myself!) because success school was going to be the weekend AFTER her wedding! YAY! <br />
<br />
So August is going to be a busy busy month! I haven't decided how long I'll be going home for for the wedding, but I will be going straight from Washington to Texas for Advocare. Then after a crazy full weekend of learning I'll be staying in Dallas to visit family for a certain amount of time. Waiting to see how long aunt wants me for :] <br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;">SIDE NOTE</span>: I'm doing a few things at once so if this post doesn't make sense.. sorry! I'm trying to focus but it's not working :]<br />
<br />
I have some recipes I want to blog about, but I'm waiting to have a few to blog about at once.. I really don't want to upload a few pictures at a time. So you can look forward to some food soon.<br />
<br />
Another random little tid bit.. I'm sitting around waiting for our tax return to post so I can head to the bank and take the money out then head to another bank to pay off my credit card! It's a happy day for me. I'm also waiting for my recent Advocare purchase to show up. That right there makes my week ha.<br />
<br />
Hummm.. can I make this anymore random?? I think I'm good for now :]<br />
<br />
<span style="color: red; font-size: large;">ADD IN... </span><br />
<br />
<br />
This is by Ron Reynolds VP of Distributor Development & Training at Advocare. I describes EXACTLY how i'm feeling right now.. oy and I still don't know what to do :/<br />
<br />
<em>A few weeks ago, after what seemed to be an endless onslaught of winter ice and snow across much of the nation - and especially here in Dallas where it drove people to experience "cabin fever" - the temperatures have moderated as we grow ever closer toward a springtime of both temperature and opportunity. </em><br />
<em></em><br />
<em><br />
</em><br />
<em>Like many of you reading this message, I had reached my limits of endurance in "late openings due to inclement weather," driving on ice-packed and snow-covered roads, and waiting for a better day tomorrow, only to find the anticipated "better day" was more of the same. </em><br />
<em><br />
</em><br />
<em>It sort of works that way in your business as well; Mary, in her best attempt to remain optimistic and hopeful says to her team, "Smile, everyone - things could be worse," so they all smiled and sure enough, things got worse. </em><br />
<em><br />
</em><br />
<em>Through it all, however, while some experienced decreased results in spite of their best efforts, a majority plowed their way through the adversity and as a result, the collective efforts of many resulted in a continued upward climb in AdvoCare of record-setting performance. The lesson in all of this is that if enough keep plowing, the harvest becomes larger. But now the time returns for us to move into the springtime of opportunity; it isn't far off now, so we must forget the setbacks and the obstacles, for as someone who I cannot remember wisely said, "Behind every setback, there's a comeback," and if we can do as well as we have done in spite of the setbacks think about how it's going to be now that the snow and the ice is turning to water, the water is feeding and nourishing the soil, and the moisture is making the soil more abundantly ready for the seed we shall plant in large quantity. </em><br />
<em><br />
</em><br />
<em>We must not, however, wait for the calendar to announce that it's officially springtime. This is the moment to plant the seeds by making lots of calls, hosting lots of Mixers, and getting a jump on the seasons so that we'll be the "first out of the gate" in the race toward creating larger teams, making more sales, earning higher pins, changing many lives for the better, and in the process of it all, increasing our own level of income so we can eliminate debt and become more financially independent. To repeat, don't wait for the season to change, go into action now. </em><br />
<br />
<em>It is not the time, however, to wait and watch; being patient has its limits. Its high levels of activity that is the order of the day, for surely activity must precede increased productivity; we must plant quickly and abundantly in the spring so we can reap abundantly in the fall. The seasons aren't going to wait for us to get ready, they aren't going to wait for our mood to change, and they aren't to care whether we seize this moment of opportunity or let it pass. We all have a "better mood button" that lets us reset all the bad memories of the past. Press it, and move on!</em><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3074608337369435494-8668982812133262470?l=longley4.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13118415803202687224emilybreanne87@yahoo.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3074608337369435494.post-57374030862478895822011-02-16T19:05:00.000-08:002011-03-11T21:21:58.724-08:002011-03-11T21:21:58.724-08:00IA ChallengeSo far this is what I have, I'll probably be adding to it here and there...<br />
