October goal!?

Did October fly by for anyone else? I had two free days out of the whole month. Other than that I was a busy women! I am not one for sitting around being lazy.

So how'd I do on my few goals.....

Walk dogs at least 3 days a week
((I am going to say yes for this one even though they didn't get walked 3 days a week. I did however walk them as much as the weather would let me!))

Keep up with chores
((Yes. Although I was usually a few days behind my own schedule ha))

Read through psalms
((Big fat fail! I started out good... ))

Track all my food with myfitnesspal
((Yes! I missed a few days since I was far to busy to even remember what I ate. And earlier this week I had a nasty stomach bug. Can't log vomiting due to illness ha.))

Keep up with my miles in the pool
((Yes yes! I did 9.2 miles this month

((Boo! That's all I'm saying on that one.))

SAVE!! It's our last month to save money before we leave for Japan.

Zoey wanted to say hi...

I have been doing a horrible job at blogging lately. I haven't even sat down to the computer for more than a few minutes since my last post last week! Busy busy over here. Next goal will be to blog more about things past and present!

Woodland Park Zoo

The first Sunday we were home we went on a family trip to the zoo with some of Frank's family. Expect a lot of old posts coming up ha. I wanted to upload a bunch more pictures but they are sideways and I have no idea how to rotate them on my moms computer. Macs are so confusing!! 

This trip was Frank's first time to the Woodland Park Zoo! I couldn't believe it. I grew up going there with family and school so it wasn't a huge deal to me (San Diego zoo is still our favorite. The one thing we love about Woodland is no hills!). Frank and myself had a great time just going at our own pace even if it annoyed certain people ;]

October goals

Monthly goals are back... For a short time. I'll be taking a break for December and possibly January if we're still in lodging.

Keep up with my miles in the pool (I'm hitting my goal this year for the Hawaiian island challenge! 38 miles by December 5)

A little update

Well it's been a little while since I posted something. We have been very busy the last few weeks! This last week feels like it flew by yet the rest of the month felt like eternity. Frank and I both wished it had gone a bit faster.  Speaking of Frank, he is on his way to Lemoore for school. He left yesterday morning and drove to his uncles house which is about 3 hours north of base. He ended up making great time getting there and was very happy to be out of the car for the night. Both of us are happy to be back on schedules after not having one for the last month plus.

I have so much to catch up on i'm not even sure where to start! I guess a good place would be to upload the pictures I have to the computer. We did lots of exploring the northwest! For our anniversary we went to La Conner for a late lunch/early dinner. Then headed over to Deception pass since neither of us had been in years. Then on the whim decided to explore Whidbey Island and the naval base. Drove down to Coupeville then headed home.

A treat to ourselves for paying off our debt (WE'RE DEBT FREE!!) we took a day trip to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands and fell in love!

We FINALLY paid off our debt so we are very happy about that. Now time to work on the savings account before heading to Japan.

We also got our flight info much earlier than we expected. We told them Frank was driving to and from school so they did not have to book him a ticket. We put a request in to do a MAC (military) flight our of Seattle but they weren't able to find us a day that could work with having room for pets. So we are flying commercial out of LA. The issue. They have Frank flying out of Lemoore to LAX and myself flying out of San Diego to LAX. We are working on having the first flights canceled and just flying out of LAX with no connecting flights before hand. I haven't talked to Frank about this yet, and it will all depend on how much money we can save, but I was thinking of driving up to San Francisco for the night after I pick him up from school. It's somewhere i've always wanted to go and we will be 3 hours from it.

As I was writing this blogger shut down on me and didn't save the rest of what I was writing :[ What I do remember... Frank and I are more than ready for it to be December. We are very excited to start our next adventure in Japan!

Birthday BBQ

SO SO HAPPY!! I finally am able to get some pictures up! My mom downloaded the pictures from the BBQ but they were on her account. It finally dawned on me today that I needed to get on her account to upload them. Yes I am that slow ha. We only have one on our computer so it's not something I have to think about. 

These pictures are courtesy of my 6 year old godson Robby. I also just realized that I have no pictures of the birthday people. My cousin Nicole has the same birthday as my mom and Frank.

busy busy!

Well we've been busy! Visiting family and friends all over the northwest. Hopefully this week we will be making a trip down to Oregon to see a family friend. We are still having issues with our car and for most of the two weeks we've been home it hasn't been working :[ Fix one thing and then another goes.. I'm hoping that little cycle stops here soon!

Hopefully I can start uploading pictures once I figure out the whole storage issue. Then you can see some of the fun we've been up to.
